Sean Kim (Right) - Writer, Director, and Lead Animator
Sean is a Korean-Portuguese filmmaker and animator born and raised in Toronto, Ontario. As a self-taught animator and graphic artist, he has created several independent animated shorts in tandem with the live-action work he has written and produced for his school studies. Most recently, he began his professional career as an animator working on an independent feature film for the Toronto-based studio, Shy Kids.
His artistic interests lie closely with the blending of human and fantastical stories, a style that has always lent a sense of escapism and comfort to him. With Gale, he is incredibly excited to bring this style not only to the animated medium but to the larger student film landscape.
Chloe Di Salle (Left) - Producer
Chloe is a Canadian filmmaker and a long-time fan of animation. Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, she moved to Toronto in 2020 to attend Toronto Metropolitan University. Since then, she has established herself as a prominent producer within the program and worked on multiple professional sets in Vancouver.
Chloe has always loved stories of whimsy and fantasy and would love to help bring Sean’s beautiful story to life. Through Gale, she hopes to dive into the world of animation and add producing for animation to her roster of skills.
